Forming process of stainless steel sink

Stretch molding

1. Machinery: Generally, a larger tonnage hydraulic press (200T) or more is used to stretch the sheet mold.

2. Mold: the angle should not be too straight, generally directly φ10 or more, and the structure should be reasonable.

3. Material: The thickness range of the sheet is generally required to be within 0.8-1.0mm. Beyond this range, even a 500T hydraulic press is weak.

4. Heat treatment: The overall stretched sink generally requires high-temperature annealing treatment, generally a temperature above 1200 degrees to eliminate the internal stress after stretching.

5. Surface treatment: drawing, polishing, polishing (generally smooth surface)

6. Process: After the sheet is added to the mold stretching oil, it can be stretched smoothly, ignited after forming, and then surface treated.

Hand-formed

1. Machinery: Generally use bending machines, hydraulic presses for forming, and argon arc welding machines for welding.

2. Fixture: bending fixture, hydraulic press mold.

3. Material: Due to the bending of the process, the thickness of the sheet is not limited, and the reasonable thickness is generally adopted according to the economy.

4. Welding: According to the thickness of the material, different welding currents can be selected, for example, welding currents below 220A can be selected for 1.2mm.

5. Surface treatment: drawing, polishing, polishing (generally smooth surface)

6. Process: Generally, the sheet is bent and formed first, and then the side seams are welded like an origami box, and finally the surface treatment is carried out.
